These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Languages and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher) and have legal capacity to agree. If you use the Service on behalf of an entity, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current information, protect your password, and notify us promptly of unauthorized use. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. No ownership rights in content or software are granted.

You may not:

• Copy, republish, sell, or commercially license content without written permission

• Scrape data or reverse engineer the platform

• Circumvent security or access systems without authorization

• Upload malware, illegal, or abusive content

All trademarks, design, text, audio, images, software, and database rights in Languages are owned by or licensed to us. Use outside the limited license in these Terms is prohibited.

The Service may include links or integrations with third parties (authentication, hosting, advertising). We are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use is subject to their terms.

Languages is a supplementary learning tool, not an accredited academic institution, and does not issue official certificates. We do not guarantee fluency, exam success, or interview outcomes. Your academic and professional decisions are your responsibility.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we and our directors, employees, and providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill — even if advised of the possibility. Our total direct liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or zero if the Service is free.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of third-party rights.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for Terms violations, security, or operational reasons, with or without notice where permitted. Survival clauses (ownership, disclaimers, limitation, indemnification) remain after termination.

We may modify the Service or these Terms. Updated Terms will be posted with an effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop using the Service.

These Terms are governed by applicable law on the operator, without prejudice to your mandatory rights under the laws of your country of residence where exclusion is not permitted. Before formal action, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution via contact@lingoaula.com within thirty (30) days.

If any provision is invalid, the remainder stays in effect. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours as part of restructuring or transfer of the Service.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede prior understandings.
